As I told you on Friday, Adam Levine was scheduled to marry his Victoria’s Secret model fiancé, Behati Prinsloo, on Saturday in Los Cabos. I wouldn’t lie to you dolls, so that’s exactly what happened (sad face, I know). The two wed in front of family, friends…and of course a bunch of models and celebrities. The wedding featured a performance by some Maroon 5 band members (obviously), and Adam’s Oscar-nominated funny-man pal, Jonah Hill, even officiated the wedding!
The wedding weekend kicked off with a welcome dinner on the beach Friday night. Wedding guests ate Mexican food at El Dorado Golf & Beach Club in Los Cabos, and had plenty of desserts, including churros and ice cream (just remember that a moment on the lips means a lifetime on the hips, dolls).
The nuptials took place on Saturday, when the couple said “I do,” under a tent (and away from the prying eyes of photographers) at Flora Farms. Here, Adam’s longtime pal Jonah kept the ceremony light with his typical humor as the officiant, and Adam’s bandmate James Valentine performed during the ceremony. Victoria’s Secret models including Candice Swanepoel flanked the Marchesa-clad Behati as her bridesmaids, and Maroon 5 keyboardist Jesse Carmichael served as Adam’s best man. Stevie Nicks even flew in to perform for the occasion! More celebrities, including Coco Rocha, Erin Heatherton, and Jason Segel, were amongst the 250+ wedding guests.
Now A+B are off to South Africa for their honeymoon to celebrate the joyous (for them) occasion, while fans of the former Sexiest Man Alive can continue to mourn.
We’ve already chatted about Adam and Behati as a couple. but what I want to know now is how you feel about the wedding details: Was the 22 Jump Street star a good choice for an officiant, or does his humor make the ceremony a bit of a joke?
