I dare you to top this summer tour.
Rumor has it that Beyonce and Jay Z will go on tour together this summer, hitting 20 stadium venues, including a scheduled stop in New York City on the Fourth of July. The power couple (and parents of Blue Ivy) have yet to confirm the news, which broke on Page 6, but I already have my minions lining up for (VIP) tickets.
Bey and Jay have collaborated before, but nothing at this level of a co-tour. The two have made surprise appearances at one another’s concerts to perform their mutual hits “Crazy in Love,” “Bonnie and Clyde” and “Drunk in Love,” and it always brings down the house. It’s about time they merged their talents into arenas everywhere!
Both Beyonce and Jay Z had world tours of their own this year – her with the Mrs. Carter World Tour that wrapped in March, and him with the Magna Carta World Tour that wrapped in January. With how busy those two are, it would be nice to only have to coordinate around one schedule.
Come on, Mr. and Mrs. Carter: confirm the news already! I have a summer social calendar of my own to plan, and my minions are probably getting cold camping outside of Barclays for tickets.
What do you think of this news? Will the “Drunk in Love” pair be the hottest ticket this summer?
