Scene & Heard: Carrie Underwood is Just The Worst

“I’m a little more selfish, a little more independent, a little closed. I do wish I were softer. I wish I were able to form relationships better. But hey, I mean, I’m not a sociopath.”–Carrie Underwood insisting that she’s not a soulless monster in her new Marie Claire mag cover feature.

What an odd thing to say. Do people routinely call her a sociopath? Is this something she hears so often she felt the need to refute it on a national scale? While (embarrassingly) I am a fan of Carrie’s music, her personality seems off-putting. And her next admission to the magazine isn’t helping. Carrie was chuckling about how she listed certain goals in her high school yearbook, things she wanted to achieve before her first reunion.

“You were supposed to say what you would be doing in 10 years, and I said, ‘I will be rich, famous, and married to a hot guy,'” she not-so-humblebrags. “I guess I should have added a few more things!”

Uck, Underwood. You can’t even brag properly. Darling, if you want lessons on being an It Girl, all you had to do was ask…

Give her a break, she’s gorgeous, she’s talented and I don’t know, but she always appears super nice whenever I’ve seen her speaking or appearing.

She’s doing just fine. Honesty is kinda refreshing. Here is an honest opinion from me to you. Noone needs any advice about anything from you.

She was called the Farmbot back in Idol. I guess she’s trying to say that she can’t be all fake emotion and niceness like all the country and pop singers seem to be pushed to be. I don’t think she needs lessons on being anything, she has succeeded mainly by talent and looks without having to pretend to be something she’s not.

I love Carrie you always pick on the nice people! :(
