Before we could even give Charlie Hunnam a cutesy shortened nickname like C.Hunn, he went and dropped out of Fifty Shades of Grey. At first, it seemed like Charlie was pushed out because of the fan backlash, then we were lead to believe it was because of scheduling conflicts… now, I’m hearing that Charlie just didn’t want to end up like Twilight‘s Robert Pattinson. I guess he took one good look at that whole Kristen Stewart chapter and shuddered at the thought.
But really, a source told People, “[Charlie] dropped out of the project because he didn’t want to be typecast. He didn’t want the -esque attention that would come along with taking on this role.”
Do you think if Charlie would have stayed on the project that he would have had the same kind of fame as R.Patz, or does it take a certain level of hotness to achieve that? XOXO
