First death threats to Kathy Griffin and now terrorist-inspired tweets to American Airlines? Where does it end, Lovatics?
In a bizarre new display of Lovatic antics, a 14 year-old Demi Lovato fan tweeted a threat to American Airlines on Sunday, April 13. The tweet read “Hello my name’s Ibrahim and I’m from Afghanistan. I’m part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I’m gonna do something really big bye.” Naturally, the tweet quickly gained the attention of American Airlines, who responded “Sarah, we take these threats very seriously. Your IP address and details will be forwarded to security and the FBI.”
At least your Sunday isn’t going like this. pic.twitter.com/jzm1GqFD5u

Somehow, over 30,000 people followed @QueenDemetriax_ after American Airlines’s no-nonsense response to the original threat, perhaps just to witness a complete social media meltdown. The inconsistent barrage of @QueenDemetriax_ responses that followed became more and more indicative of her legal fate (and dismal sense of “humor”), and, well,
the complete idiot the tweeter-turned-felon was arrested in the Netherlands on Monday. Obviously.

Listen up, Lovatics and bored-in-general minions: there are better ways to entertain yourself than to threaten an airline. Specifically: anything. Catch up all the juicy celebrity feuds! Discuss how impeccable Taylor Swift’s NYC wardrobe has been as of late. Binge watch old seasons of GG! But please –for the love of Jimmy Choos — don’t joke about blowing up a plane. And @QueenDemetriax_, unless those 30,000 new followers are planning to contribute to your bail fund, doll, this is a pricey Twitter error.
What do you think? Is jail time appropriate for her ill-advised “prank”?
