Doomsday Predictions For Our Favorite Gossip Girl Characters

Find out what Chuck, Blair and the rest will be doing on doomsday.

The Mayan calendar predicts the world will end on December 21—the perfect excuse for our favorite Upper East Siders to host an “It’s The End of The World As We Know It” gala! Blair’s last moments on Earth, will have to be the undisputed best, so we asked Iva-Marie Palmer—author of The End of The World As We Know It, and expert on living it up like it’s your last chance—to make some predictions. Here’s what she said:

Sometimes, a girl just has to plan ahead for the end of the world. How else would one pick the perfect outfit? But our favorite Upper East Siders would, I think, bring their own style to the big Sayonara. Here are my predictions for how GG’s gang would spend their final moments.

P.S. I still haven’t found my end-of-days ensemble, but I know it’s couture, it’s coveted, and I’d better not see Blair wearing the same thing!

1. Nate publishes his Save the City apocalypse plan in The Spectator, and the world unites under his journalistic vision. Sadly, Nate can’t admire his handiwork, as he’s so busy individually tending to each and every damsel in distress.

2. Jenny tries to pretend like she cares at all about her last day on earth and a single tear smudges her eyeliner. No one can tell.

3. Dan and Serena are planning the best End of the World Party of, well, all time when . . .

4. Chuck and Blair reveal they’ve already built the most stylish doomsday bunker ever. A few of the essentials: Caviar, aged scotch, a storeroom of couture, towers of B’s favorite desserts from Paris, and a special room reserved for Chuck and Blair to celebrate their Basses off (alone, of course.).

It all goes to show that even if the world does end, it will never stop revolving around the Upper East Side.

Signature cocktail: The Waldorf, a Champagne and raspberry liquor mix, served in a flute rimmed with pink frosting and Bassed up with a mini bow tie embellishment.

Are these apocalyptic fates dead-on or dead wrong?
