Scene & Heard: Why Emma Watson Is Jealous of Other Actresses

“There are all these actresses who have emerged in the last year or two, and they get to emerge as this complete human being. And I’m so jealous!”– Emma Watson reveals to Elle magazine that while most aspiring actresses would love her nearly 15-year career, she’s envious of stars like Jennifer Lawrence who have only just begun.

Growing up in the spotlight can of course be hard (I would know–I learned at a very early age that it’s tough being the cute one and having all eyes on you all the time). Em shared an anecdote about realizing that she needed a life outside of her acting career: “I remember reading this thing that Elizabeth Taylor wrote. She had her first kiss in character. On a movie set. It really struck me. I don’t know how or why, but I had this sense that if I wasn’t really careful, that could be me,” she shared. “That my first kiss could be in somebody else’s clothes. And my experiences could all belong to someone else.”

But luckily, Emma seems to have her “common people” life separated from her Hollywood one. I hear that she’s been seeing hunky Oxford rugby player Matt Janney as she continues studying at Brown University. While she doesn’t give me any scandal to report on EVER, I do love Em. It’s a shame more celebs aren’t like her, although I guess, what would be the fun in that? XOXO

She’s stunning, Smart and fair to her principles and values… Who cares if she might not offer you “fun” stories to tell, there should be more people like her in the business!

She doesn’t have to be so envious about them, she could be famous and live a happily live (without to much papparazi). Most actresses would probably kill for that.

Wow, I seriously doubt some loser who is online all her life actually would ever be thought of as the “pretty, or special one”. You can talk the talk, but can you really walk the walk?
