During Gossip Girl‘s television reign, Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) was the queen of Contance Billard and later went on to design her own fashion line. Blair even inspired a major trend of headbands with Gossip Girl fans worldwide.
So obviously picking her best looks was a challenge since she always looked immaculate and put-together. But we put the task on Karissa Bowers, GG fashion fan and expert, and she came up with 10 of her favorite Queen B looks, in no particular order. Check them out below!
What were your favorite outfits worn by Blair? Let us know in a comment.
PS- Karissa, editor of FashionofGossipGirl.com, has just created a site dedicated to the new CW show The Carrie Diaries (which GG costume designer Eric Daman works on). Check it out at The Carrie Diaries Style!
In Season One, Blair was the reigning queen of Constance Billard, wearing demure, preppy clothes, fit for a prep school queen. In “Bad News Blair,” Blair attends her mother’s photoshoot wearing a Catherine Malandrino jacquard dress; her soft curls added a youthful look to the dress.Photo Credit: The CWIn “School Lies,” Blair wears a cute, feminine tuxedo dress. She pairs it with white tights, a houndstooth coat and ankle strap pumps.Photo Credit: The CWThe Season Two finale, “The Goodbye Gossip Girl,” was an all-out fashion show. My favorite Blair look of the episode was her Nanette Lepore ‘Ferry Boat’ coat which featured a Milly cardigan underneath and a gold tie neck blouse. This time the green came in the form of a cape coat which was paired with a polka dot scarf and yellow pumps. Blair pairs the dress with Alexandre Birman python pumps and a Prada bag.
