We all said goodbye to TV’s most fashionable show, Gossip Girl, on Monday night. The aptly named, “New York, I Love You XOXO” episode boasted the best fashion yet and didn’t fail to impress.

The episode started off in great taste with Serena wearing a 3.1 Phillip Lim wool coat with an Intarsia dress by McQ. I loved the wintery look and thought the Christian Louboutin embellished pumps and Valentino crystal bag really made the outfit come to life.

The episode also featured a flashback in which Season 1 core pieces made appearances. Chuck’s ascot, Blair’s headband and Dan’s corduroy jacket were some of the old-school styles that brought the flashback to life.

Of course two of the most memorable moments in the finale were both wedding gowns donned by Blair and Serena in the episode. Blair chose a more classic look while Serena wore a bold strapless gown.

A standout outfit for me was Blair’s Zuhair Murad couture dress she wore to Serena’s wedding. The metallic embroidered dress was adorned with bows along the straps and made Blair the best-dressed of the wedding party. Unfortunately, the dress is unavailable, but you can get the look with Alice + Olivia’s ‘Caryn’ metallic dress.

Jenny Humphrey made a grand return at Serena’s wedding, wearing a beautiful embellished Zuhair Murad dress with Christian Louboutin ‘Lady Daf’ pumps. Meanwhile, Georgina wore a sequin mini by Robert Rodriguez and accessorized with a bold statement necklace. The glamour-filled wedding was the perfect way to close out the episode and made us all realize how much we will miss dreaming of someday wearing gowns as fabulous as theirs. Though the series is over, the fashion legacy Gossip Girl leaves behind will live on.
