Oh no, darlings.
My spies here in New York tell me that Fashion Police goddess Joan Rivers is currently at Manhattan’s Mount Sinai Hospital after she stopped breathing during a surgery at a separate NYC clinic.
The complications are said to have landed the 81-year-old comedy legend in critical condition. Gasp.
Sources say the surgery was being performed this morning on her vocal chords and Rivers’ heart may have stopped beating at one point.
In a statement, hospital spokesman Sid Dinsay said, “This morning, Joan Rivers was taken to The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, where she is being attended to. Her family wants to thank everybody for their outpouring of love and support. We will provide an update on her condition as it becomes available.”
Joan, my spirit animal, feel better soon.
