My spies tell me that the Canadian pop tart was arrested for dangerous driving and assault after a minivan and ATV collided near his hometown on Friday afternoon, leading to a physical altercation.
You may recall Justin returned to his homeland roots with (girlfriend again?) Selena Gomez, and the two were spotted riding an ATV the same day the accident occurred.
Breathe easy, little Beliebers, your idol is already a free man after giving his word he’d return for court on Sept. 29—and his people are busy shaking their fingers at the paparazzi over the incident.
“Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s peaceful retreat in Stratford this weekend was unfortunately disrupted by the unwelcome presence of paparazzi,” Biebs’ lawyer Brian H. Greenspan told People. “This has regrettably resulted in charges of dangerous driving and assault. Mr. Bieber and Ms. Gomez have fully cooperated in the police investigation. We are hopeful that this matter will be quickly resolved.”
This latest legal hiccup comes after Bieber pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of careless driving and resisting arrest after his arrest in Miami Beach. Speaking of Miami, a photographer filed a lawsuit there against JB claiming injuries.
On that same note, Bieber’s currently charged in Toronto with assaulting a limo driver. Oh, and he’s on two years of probation following a misdemeanor vandalism charge.
Le sigh—will someone banish him already?
