I’ve always loved Cinderella. It’s proof that a pair of shoes can change your life…
And now I hear that Keke Palmer is coming to Broadway to play the role of the Disney princess, officially stepping into the glass slippers on September 9. This news also marks a milestone event for the production: Keke is the first African-American actress to play this part on the Great White Way. Cheers to that, darlings!
I’ve always liked Keke since I first met her years ago when she was just a wee one starring on Nickelodeon’s True Jackson, VP. She has great style, is full of fun energy, and has a ton of talent. It’s always surprised me that she never really got to the same level as Selena Gomez or Demi Lovato.
What do you think about K’s new role? Will it kick up her fame a notch? Or is her career approaching its midnight hour?
