They say diamonds are forever, but we all know some relationships aren’t. Case in point, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, who lasted a whole 72 days before calling it quits. And while the engagement ring will never turn to ashes like their marriage did, it will be getting a new home–at least that’s what I hear.
Rumor has it that a stunning diamond ring is being put up for auction at Christie’s in Manhattan, and its description is identical to the one Kris popped the question to Kim with: “The Lorraine Schwartz design features a 16-karat emerald cut center stone flanked by 1.8-karat trapezoid side diamonds.” The ring, which has a value estimated at $2 million, will be sold in the auction called “Magnificent Jewels” set for Oct. 15.
The auction house isn’t confirming Kris’ identity, but all of the facts add up. Although, I have to admit that I’m surprised the ring was actually real… especially since their marriage wasn’t. You know you love me. XOXO
