Le sigh, darlings. I just never know quite how to feel about Lauren Conrad. On one hand, I think she’s a great example of a chic, independent, business-minded girl who doesn’t feel the need to show her boobs on Instagram or get sloppy in the clubs. On the other hand, something about her just annoys me so much. So I’m quite conflicted when it comes to LC’s latest chat about her pre-wedding exercise and diet regime…
Lauren is getting married to singer-songwriter William Tell later this summer, but isn’t hitting the gym for hours or subsiding on a diet of celery and ice cubes to get ready for it. “I’m not a huge fan of the gym, to be honest. When I have to go to the gym and put an hour in, I’m just staring at the clock,” she admitted to People. “I just like getting out, like going on a hike, going on the kayaks, going for a run on the beach.”
Lauren also nixed the idea of going on some insane juice cleanse to fit into her gown.
“I really love food. I’m not good at dieting I try to make smart choices but just eat a little bit less,” she confessed.
While I do appreciate that LC is bucking the “shedding for the wedding” trend that gets brides so worked up they don’t even enjoy their engagement, I’m always irked by stars to claim that their fab figure is oh so accidental.
Whatever is really behind Lauren’s super shape, at least it sounds like she’s enjoying being a bride and won’t be some emaciate version of herself on her wedding day, so claps for that. Do you think that LC’s slim arms and flat abs are the result of a hike here and there, or do you believe she’s really putting in some serious gym time?
