Last week I reminded you that tights are not pants. But bare skin is not pants either, to the surprise of exactly no one except perhaps Girls star Lena Dunham. While Lena won a Hot Mess award at the Emmys thanks to her too-voluminous and dowdy dress, her latest look is just as awful but for precisely the opposite reason.

Lena turned up at a charity event in LA wearing what looks to be just a blouse and awkward flats that look like they came from a Hello Kitty outlet. Perhaps LD is donning a pair of micro-shorts under her silk chemise, but I for one am not volunteering to find out…would you?

Lena, I beg you: Please hire a stylist…or stay home. XOXO.
