This morning, while I was peacefully drinking my first latte and reading my copy of WWD, my maid ran into my room to inform me of the atrocity that happened while I was sleeping. Apparently Lindsay Lohan hit a pedestrian last night and left the scene. SHOCKING, I know…

She was parallel parking her Porsche Cayenne near the Dream Hotel in downtown NYC when the vehicle hit the knee of a 30-something guy. A member of her entourage got out, checked to make sure there were no scrapes on the SUV (because that would be the worst thing that could possibly happen…), and they headed up to the hotel.

But officers were waiting to arrest her when she walked out around 2:30 am. While she didn’t spend the night in jail or pay any bail (insert my sad face here…), the arrest could mean a probation violation (remember how she’s still in trouble for that jewelry theft case? Classy!)

Dear Lindsay, perhaps you should take a cue from your protégé Amanda Bynes: get a driver! XOXO
