It looks like Twitter users got the memo when the Demi Lovato fan who posted a stupid prank bomb threat to American Airlines got arrested…but unfortunately they couldn’t care less! As I reported, a less-than-intelligent Lovatic, @QueenDemetriax, tweeted, “Hello my name’s Ibrahim and I’m from Afghanistan. I’m part of Al Qaida and on June 1st I’m gonna do something really big bye.” Though she was super excited at the 30,000 + followers that she gained as a result of her ill-advised
terrorism “prank”, she was subsequently taken into custody in the Netherlands.
Well, dolls, according to a story from The Washington Post, instead of this news deterring Twitter users from this completely moronic behavior, it’s prompted dozens of copycats! In the interest of not giving these aspiring social media stars the attention they want, I won’t waste my time in posting them.
Poor Demi, though! The pop star, who incidentally has zero to do with all of this negative and completely nonsensical commotion, has had the reputation of her fans tarnished by one random tweeter.
Darlings, if you want your 15 minutes of fame, do something a bit more worthwhile. Even dating a reality star would be better than this pathetic display. XOXO
