If your life has been woefully devoid of Mark Salling, then today’s news should put a smile on your lusty little face. I hear that M is currently shooting a new movie for TV called Rocky Road. Here’s the official description:
Mark will play Harrison Burke, a trader at a prestigious Wall Street investment bank who’s living high on the hog until a round of downsizing renders him unemployed. Jobless and in debt, Burke moves back in with his parents in a quaint New Hampshire town, telling them that he’s on vacation. Burke’s descent into humility continues when he takes a job at his father’s “Rocky Road” ice-cream truck business.
While you may be thrilled (like I am) that he’ll once again be back on your DVR, don’t expect it to be the sexy, rakish stuff Mark was known for on Glee. The movie will premiere on “uplifting” Christian cable network UP, which also airs the schmaltzy Touched By An Angel and Dr Quinn: Medicine Woman–basically the stuff my nightmares are made of.
But still, I suppose I’ll tune in and cheer him on, will you? Should he be trying for the big screen or is this a totally not humiliating next step after Glee?
