Darlings, not a day goes by when Miley Cyrus doesn’t appear in my news feed. I think we need to take a moment and applaud her for her ability to stay in the headlines, no matter what our opinion is about her. She is obviously a follower of my motto “You’re nobody until you’re talked about,” so we must give her a little credit for that.
Moving on…today she’s in the news because of her newest cover-girl moment. She’s featured in the November issue of Fashion magazine where she reveals we actually didn’t see the worst of her VMAs performance (“I was trying to slap Robin [Thicke’s] a** but no one saw it! Believe me! MTV edited so much. They cut almost everything I did.”), and talks about her new song called “Drive” that sounds like it was inspired by her own relationship with Liam Hemsworth.
“I wrote it while I was working on Valentine’s Day— emotionally it was such a hard time,” she said. “It is about needing to leave someone but not really wanting to completely cut yourself off from the relationship. It’s a time when you want to leave but you can’t. It’s also about moving on.”
Do you believe her latest interview or do you think she’ll say anything to make it look like the breakup was her decision? Tell me in a comment below! XOXO
