Kate Middleton never takes a vacation from looking good. The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out at the Commonwealth Games wearing her favorite blue Stella McCartney dress paired with a classic blue blazer and the blue Stuart Weitzman wedge heels that she pairs with just about everything. Kate was with both Prince William and Prince Harry, and (obviously) outshone both royal brothers.
Darlings, I can handle a little fashion recycling, as long as the fashion environmentalist sticks to a few classic pieces like Kate did. As I always say, fashion is an investment, and the Duchess made a good one with the Stella McCartney dress (don’t even bother trying to steal her look, though, dolls: it sold out quite quickly when she first wore the piece in 2012). In any case, this type of recycling is a way more manageable form of caring for the environment than doing something yucky like composting or riding a bicycle (shudder).
As always, Kate was a good sport and actually played along with the athletes. This is a woman who always manages to look like a model for athleticism, after all. She looks so chic that she almost makes me want to try whatever type of lawn bowling she’s gracefully smiling through. Almost.
What do you think of Kate’s outfit, loves? Is it chic enough to warrant all the wears she gives it?
