Penn Badgley‘s new movie Greetings From Tim Buckley is set to come out this year and the first images from the film have been released. In the movie, Penn stars as Jeff, the son of Tim Buckley, who plays his father’s tribute concert and meets a girl who helps him learn to embrace all of his feelings toward the father who abandoned him – longing, anger, forgiveness, and love.
The Gossip Girl star has also been spotted performing for the role. Recently he sang Jeff Buckley’s version of “Lilac Wine” — watch it here!
