Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) and her mother Eleanor (Margaret Colin) have definitely had their ups and downs throughout the Gossip Girl series. They were in a good place at the end of Season 5 when Eleanor gave B the opportunity to be the head of Waldorf Designs. But proving herself to her mother has been quite a rough patch in Blair’s career.
After she first debuted the line, she had no buyers. And after her provocative cotillion dress worn by Sage was accompanied by the infamous Dan Humphrey (Penn Badgley) and Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) sex tape, Eleanor has come back to the Upper East Side to have a little chat with her daughter.
In Season 6, Episode 6, “Where The Vile Things Are,” (air date November 19, 2012), we will see Blair try to defend herself. Our favorite line from the convo? “My cotillion dress has already been ordered by the three B’s: Barneys, Bergdorfs, and the lesser but still relevant Bloomingdales.”
